Many reviewers like its quiet operation that they have to go down the basement stairs to visually check to see if the unit is on and they can’t say that for many other dehumidifiers. The Soleus Air has three fan settings and the Quiet setting is really quiet which could probably work just fine in a bedroom. When it’s set on High setting, the fan noise is not audible across a normal-sized room unless you’re listening to it. However, some reviewers complained on getting units that stopped working after a year of use.
